How we use your information
This notice explains how Winchester Care Limited ("we", "us") uses personal information you send us through this website. We are the data controller for that information.
What we collect
If you send an enquiry, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the type of enquiry and your message.
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we use it
We use your details only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to arrange a visit or assessment. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps you ask us to take before entering into an agreement.
We will not use your details for marketing, and we will never sell them.
Who handles it
- Enquiries are passed to us by Web3Forms, a form-handling service, and delivered to our email, which is provided by Google Workspace.
- The website is hosted by Cloudflare.
These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails for up to 12 months, unless the enquiry leads to someone moving in, in which case the information becomes part of their care records and is kept in line with our records policy.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. There is no charge. Contact us at enquiries@winchester-care.co.uk or write to Winchester Care Limited, The Shrubbery, 33 Wood Green Road, Wednesbury, West Midlands WS10 9QL.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
