Winchester Care has run The Shrubbery for over 20 years. We are a small, welcoming home with local staff, caring for up to 28 residents.
Who we are
We specialise in dementia care. Our aim is to help residents keep their abilities for longer, while living somewhere comfortable and engaging.
We are good at keeping our staff, so the team is very experienced in elderly care. Our core staff have been at The Shrubbery for over ten years. We employ people from the local area, and we have a good working relationship with Sandwell Council and the Care Quality Commission.

How a move to The Shrubbery works
Get in touch
Call us or send an enquiry. You are welcome to visit and look around first.
Assessment
We arrange a time to meet the person and, where possible, their family. We talk through their needs so we can be sure we can meet them, and how.
Moving day
We agree a moving date and help arrange transport for the resident and their belongings.
